FAQ
What kind of experience do you look for in a ProAssistant?
We require significant executive assistant experience from our ProAssistant partners, as demonstrated by a resume and LinkedIn profile. We value ProAssistants who act as business partners, chiefs of staff, project managers, assistants/schedulers, and personal assistants.
How many clients do ProAssistants work with?
ProAssistants are partnered with a maximum of three clients. This 3-to-1 executive-to-assistant ratio ensures full-service support for our clients.
What skills do we value in ProAssistants?
We prioritize soft skills (51%), such as interpersonal abilities, self-awareness, hospitality, and emotional intelligence, slightly more than technical skills (49%), like computer proficiency and technical troubleshooting. We are a high-touch hospitality company that values a ‘can-do’ personality and a servant’s heart.
How are ProAssistants compensated?
We charge clients a monthly retainer and pay ProAssistants a flat rate retainer each month, not based on hours. We pass 75+% of our client retainers directly to their ProAssistant which is unheard of in the fractional EA space. This provides consistent compensation that our ProAssistants can count on.
What are a ProAssistant's responsibilities regarding taxes, insurance, and equipment?
All our ProAssistants are independent contractors responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and equipment. We pride ourselves on compensating our assistants at the highest rate in the industry.
What administrative tasks does ProAssisting handle for its ProAssistant partners?
We handle all marketing, sales, branding, invoicing, collections, agreements, managing client expectations, insurance, and HR issues. This allows our ProAssistants to focus on doing great work.
